Level 9 Research Discipline Area Validation
Following the publication of the ‘Sectoral Protocol for the Awarding of research Masters Degrees at NFQ Level 9 Under Delegated Authority (DA) from Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI)’, GMIT developed ‘NFQ Level 9 Research Discipline Area Validation Policy and Procedures’.

New Programme Validation Reports

Support Services and Facilities Review
ATU reviews the effectiveness of each function on a cyclical basis. The main elements of the review are a self-evaluation and an external peer review process. This review of support services focuses on the contribution of each of the services and how they can be developed to enhance the quality of provision to learners, staff and all stakeholders. The review of facilities include the examination of ATU’s equipment and other facilities, to ensure their continuing adequacy and fitness for purpose. Reports from these reviews are available below:
Annual Quality Assurance Reports
ATU prepares an annual quality report which is submitted to QQI. It provides details of our internal quality assurance and outlines activities related to quality which have occurred in the institution during the preceding year. Recent Annual Quality Reports available below:
