Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance at ATU

This webpage contains the Academic Policies of Atlantic Technological University (ATU) and will be updated as new policies are adopted by the new university. Until such time as a policy is approved by the Academic Council the Governing Body has approved that the policies of the legacy colleges (GMIT, IT Sligo, LYIT) will apply. ATU is committed to the highest quality standards, to continuous quality improvement and enhancement and to the creation of a quality culture. The development of an integrated Academic Quality Assurance and Enhancement Framework for the University is being progressed as a matter of high priority.
The definitive and current version of all policies and codes are those published on the website as distinct from those published in hard copy format.
