Living in Galway City

There's plenty to do in Galway!  It is a cosmopolitan city which offers a varied selection of entertainment, shopping and sightseeing.  GMIT students are ideally placed to take advantage of it all.

Living in Castlebar

Castlebar has plenty to offer students who like the outdoors such as walking routes and good fishing and angling. It has an abundance of nightlife with plenty pubs and a range of trendy cafes and restaurants.

Living in Letterfrack

Letterfrack is a small village set in the heart of Connemara.  It's a peaceful place and provides an ideal setting for the inspirational work undertaken by students at GMIT, Letterfrack.

Living in Mountbellew

Mountbellew is a growing town about 50km from Galway city.
