Advanced Visual Studies

A semester long module in which students focus their exploration of and development as practitioners of contemporary art. The module will enable the students to become increasingly self-directed, and competent to make a decision about whether their work is to focus within a community art setting or an individualistic artistic outcome.

1. Demonstrate initiative in exploring project briefs and set activities

2. Organise time and physical resources in relation to set projects

3. Engage with their peers and demonstrate effective communication through seminars, visual and oral presentations

4. Facilitate and negotiate initiatives and ideas with others in relation to group projects
