CAD/BIM 2 Construction

This module builds on the skills and competence acquired in year one to represent buildings and building details graphically using 2D and 3D Building Information Modelling software.

1. Explore CAD applications associated with the production of drawings for construction.

2. Explore the BIM process and its application in the construction process.

3. Apply his/her knowledge of drawing conventions and systems to solving problems.

4. Understanding the software to produce practical designs and construction solutions.

5. Read and understand what is represented graphically and take what information is needed from the drawing.
