Electronic Circuits 1

This module teaches students the fundamentals of digital and analog electronic circuits. Students learn to design simple logic circuits. Circuits are simulated in software and built on protoboards. Students test and fault-find their circuits. Test results are documented and analysed. The student learns how to interface digital devices with peripheral components.

1. Design simple logic circuits.

2. Build and test circuits on a protoboard.

3. Simulate common digital and analog circuits using standard industrial tools.

4. Understand the electrical properties of digital circuit inputs and outputs.
