Emerging Issues in the Blue Economy

This module will give a broad overview and insights into the different sectors of the Blue Economy and recent marine policy in an international context. This course will be delivered using a blended model with an online preparation and an on-site event (Blue Growth Summer School).  

1. Provide an overview of the evolving composition of the Blue Economy in Europe

2. Evaluate the role of EU policy in driving economic activity in the Blue Economy

3. Describe the macroeconomic and microeconomic environment for selected Blue Economy case studies
