Enquiry in Nursing Practice

This module concerns the relevant skills and knowledge required to understand research methodologies and incorporate research and evidence into clinical practice in an ethical manner. 

1. Critically analyse the role of research and associated ethical issues within nursing practice.

2. Critically search literature appropriate to the research topic.

3. Appraise the stages of the research process.

4. Critically analyze various research traditions and their approaches.

5. Select appropriate statistical tests to analyse quantitative research data.
