GMIT Lifelong Learning Centre Launches Autumn Schedule of Evening Courses
GMIT Lifelong Learning Centre, Galway campus, has launched its Autumn programme of evening courses, commencing September 2013. Over thirty full-time and part-time evening courses in the disciplines of Business, Engineering, Science, and Tourism & Arts will be delivered in the Dublin Road (Galway) campus.
In Business, four courses from the Bachelor of Arts in Human Resource Management are offered; Economics, Employment Law, Government & Public Policy, Improving Organisational Performance.
In Engineering, three new part-time courses are offered in the areas of Industrial Automation, IT Networking, and Introduction to Computer & Electronic Engineering. These offer participants important programming and computing skills.
In Science, a new offering is the part-time Certificate in Quality & Regulatory Affairs. This is an add-on to the Excellence Ireland Diploma in Quality course which has been undertaken by 280 people to date in the GMIT Lifelong Learning Centre.
In Tourism & Arts, two part-time offerings are the Bachelor of Arts in Arts & Design and the Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies.
Commenting on this year's Autumn schedule, Peter Butler, Lifelong Learning Coordinator, Galway, says: “These evening courses in GMIT meet the need for accredited learning which improves people's opportunity for advancement in the workplace."
