Over 30 organisations lined up for Careers Fair (Mayo)

Over thirty organisations including recruitment agencies, companies, professional bodies and third-level colleges are to take part in the GMIT Castlebar Careers Fair on Friday 15 February on campus.

Participating organisations include Irishjobs.ie, Hibernia College, ACCA, Chartered Accountants Ireland, CBE, Ambassador Recruitment, Construction Industry Federation, Failte Ireland, NUI Galway, Employability Mayo, Allergan, CPA and many more.

The event takes place in St Mary’s Hall on the GMIT Castlebar campus, Westport Road, Castlebar, from 10am to 1pm and is free of charge.

Michelle Kerins O’Brien, GMIT Castlebar Careers Officer, says: It’s a great opportunity for current students, graduates and the general public to get to meet with key personnel in these organisations to discuss current opportunities and how they can support them with their career plans”.

“We have an excellent range of exhibitors this year. We have third-level colleges who can advise on further studies and postgraduate opportunities, companies who are looking to meet with recent graduates, and organisations who provide information on working and traveling abroad. In addition we have exhibitors providing help with career planning for those who need additional support. There really is something for everyone.”
