Two GMIT School of Business graduates elected to the National Executive of the Union of Students in Ireland (USI)
GMIT School of Business graduates Michael Kerrigan and Amy Kelly were recently elected to the National Executive of the Union of Students in Ireland (USI).
Michael Kerrigan has been elected President of USI and Amy Kelly has been elected Vice President for Campaigns.
The election is significant as student politics plays an important role in forming many of the future leaders of the State as well as influencing the debates of the day.
Speaking of the election, Head of GMIT School of Business Prof Graham Heaslip said “It is fantastic that graduates from GMIT School of Business are in such positions of influence and are influencing national agendas, we wish Mike and Amy well in their new positions”.
