Due to the status orange weather warning issued by Met Éireann and in the interests of student and staff safety, all GMIT campuses will close from 5pm today (Thurs 3 Oct). All campuses are expected to re-open as normal tomorrow (Fri 4 Oct).
The weather warning presently applies to counties Galway, Mayo, Clare, Kerry and Limerick and will be in place from 6pm today to 3am tomorrow morning (Fri 4 Oct). Please take care and avoid any unnecessary journeys.
