Implementation of software packages as part of group and individual project work to replicate 'real world' surveying tasks and scenarios.

1. Apply a variety of software packages to QS activities.

2. Apply coursework to real world construction projects and surveying tasks.

3. Appreciate the need for forward planning, time management, self management & motivation and leadership skills.

4. Show an understanding of the benefits and difficulties of teamwork and contributing to same.

5. Demonstrate improved verbal, written and graphic communication and presentation skills.

6. Appreciate the need for records and record keeping.
