Research or Business-Internship in the Blue Economy

Participants will engage in a 10-week period of professional practice in an organisation of operating within in the Blue Economy. During this internship students will work in close collaboration with a mentor from the programme and their host to apply the skills and knowledge they have acquired in modules that have been completed.

1. Demonstrate through interpersonal communications how their experience has improved their professional competence

2. Critically evaluate and articulate how they have contributed to their host business objectives.

3. Demonstrate how they applied previously acquired theory and practical knowledge to their professional duties in the host business
    

4. Evaluate and explain how their internship experience has modified their career aspirations
    

5. Assess the effect of their professional practice on their future employment prospects.
